In the game of baccarat, the aim is to predict whether the Player’s hand or the Bank’s hand will have a total value closest to 9, or if the game will result in a tie.
The cards in Baccarat have a value that is different from most other games:| Card | Value |

If the sum of the cards drawn is greater than 9, only the unit digit is counted. For example, a total of 15 obtained by drawing an 8 and a 7 is worth 5 points.
Game details
Before the cards are dealt, players bet on the Player's hand, the Banker's hand or a tie. The dealer deals two cards each to the Player and the Banker. The total value of the cards is calculated for each hand. Depending on the score of each hand and the situation, the dealer may or may not deal a third card:

- Final Scoring: After any third cards are drawn, the scores of both sides are tallied.
- Winning: The side closest to a total of 9 points wins. If you bet on this winning side, you win.
- Ties: If it's a tie and you bet on a tie, you win. If it's a tie and you didn't bet on a tie, your bet is returned.
- Side Bets: In most online Baccarat games, you can also place side bets on whether the Banker or Player will draw a pair, separate from the main game.
